Methods of cooking green lentils

Green Lentil Soup:
half a cup of washed green lentils.
Two tablespoons of olive oil.
A medium grain of finely chopped onions.
Seven cups of water.
An envelope of ready-made vegetable soup.
Two tablespoons of chopped parsley.

How to prepare :
Heat the oil in a large saucepan over the fire and fry the onions for two to three minutes until they wither.
Add water and lentils and leave the ingredients to boil, then lower the temperature of the stove and leave the soup for half an hour until the lentils are soft.
Add vegetable soup envelope, stir the ingredients and leave on low heat for ten minutes. Add chopped parsley and serve.

Green lentil soup with vegetables:
250 grams of washed green lentils.
Eighty grams of bacon, divided into small pieces.
Three tablespoons of olive oil.
Two each: carrots, peeled and cut into small pieces, finely chopped onions, and leeks cut into small pieces.
Chopsticks, finely chopped celery.
Two mashed garlic cloves.
A liter and a half of vegetable or chicken broth.
Fresh thyme stick.
Half a teaspoon of cumin seeds.
Salt and black pepper – to taste.
Fried bread with butter and thyme.
Minced parsley.

How to prepare:
Heat the oil in a large saucepan and roast the bacon until it produces fat, then add carrots, onions, leeks, and celery, and leave the ingredients on high heat until the vegetables turn brown.
Add lentil and crushed garlic and stir well.
Add the broth, thyme, and cumin.
Cover the soup when it begins to boil, then cover the saucepan and leave it for thirty-five to forty minutes.
Mix the soup in the electric mixer when it cools down a little, then put it back on the pot and let it boil while removing the formed foam on the face.
Add parsley and fried bread on top and serve.
