Coconut Rice

Ingredients

A medium-sized cup of long-grain rice

A cup of coconut milk

  A cup and half of water

A tablespoon of granulated sugar

  a small spoon of salt

Roasted sesame to garnish

How to prepare

Put the rice, milk, water and sugar in a large saucepan and put it on a medium heat until it starts to boil.
Then we reduce to the fire and leave it until it is cooked about half an hour, taking care to stir continuously so that it does not stick to the pot.
When the rice is done, remove it from the stove and let it cool down a little, then serve it with a sprinkle of sesame

Fried Rice

Ingredients

Two tablespoons of sesame oil

Three medium-sized eggs

the salt

Two carrots, cut into cubes

Three small green onions, sliced

Three cloves of garlic

 A tablespoon of ginger

Four cups cooked long-grain rice

A quarter cup of peas

Three tablespoons. soy sauce

How to prepare

Heat the oil in a large frying pan over a high heat.
We open the eggs and whisk them with a little water, salt and black pepper and put them in a hot pan, taking care to stir continuously.
When the eggs are done, put them on a plate aside and in the same pan, heat the oil and fry the onion and carrot slices in it until they become golden in color, then add the garlic, ginger and salt. Leave it to cook for about two minutes
Reduce the heat and add the rice and peas, stir them a little, then add to them the soy sauce and the eggs that they cooked previously, stir well, then put the rice in the serving dish

Tomato Risotto

Ingredients

Five cups of vegetable or chicken broth

Dried tomatoes

 Clove garlic

One large onion

the salt

black pepper

Two cups of rice

1 cup and half grated pecorino

Tablespoon. butter

Papers from. Fresh basil

How to prepare

Heat the broth over low heat
In a large, hot frying pan, add the dried tomatoes, oil, garlic, onions, salt and pepper.
Let the mixture fry well, taking care to constantly stir so that the onions do not burn
Half of the rice prepares it and let it brown a little, then add the hot chicken broth to it and let it simmer for about twenty minutes with stirring from time to time.
When it is done, remove it from the fire and add to it an amount of grated cheese and a tablespoon of butter and stir until it melts and obtain a creamy texture
Put the rice in a serving dish with a pinch of basil leaves
