Pink beet hummus

Ingredients

a cup of hummus

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Half a cup of flour

tablespoon beetroot juice

salt

1 teaspoon black sesame seeds

How to prepare

Put the chickpeas in a bowl, then add cold water to it and leave it to soak for a whole night
Then drain the chickpeas from the water and rinse them well
In a medium saucepan, put the chickpeas with a little water, salt, lemon juice, and flour
Mixing well until it becomes a smooth texture
Add the beet juice to the chickpeas and mix well until the color of the mixture turns pink to red
Put the chickpeas in a serving dish with a sprinkle of black sesame seeds.

Roasted Beet

Ingredients

Four large beets

1 tablespoon of olive oil

salt

ground black pepper

How to prepare

Heat the oven to a high temperature
Meanwhile, rinse the beetroots well and chop them into medium-sized pieces
Wrap beetroot heads in tin foil
Put it on a baking tray, sprinkle it with oil and salt, then put it in the oven
Leave it until it becomes soft
Take it out of the oven and remove the peel
Season with salt and pepper, then serve
