Homemade Ice Cream


Chocolate Ice Cream


Six bars of chocolate with optional taste

A cup and a half of milk

A cup and a half of heavy cream

¼ cup of cocoa powder

¼ cup of sugar

Six egg yolks

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Quarter of a teaspoon of salt

How to prepare

The night before we make the ice cream, we freeze the bowl for making the ice cream
Take a large bowl, fill it with ice and water, and set it aside
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a water bath with a teaspoon of butter
Mix the milk with the cream and add the cocoa to it, mix well until the ingredients are homogeneous, then put on medium heat until boiling.
Then remove the pot from the fire and put it aside
Meanwhile, beat with an electric mixer the egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla, gradually adding the milk
Pour the beaten egg mixture over the melted chocolate and put it on low heat with constant stirring
Then we leave it to cool for a whole night
The next day, we prepare the ice cream according to the written instructions until it becomes creamy and smooth
We freeze it and then serve cold

Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream


Two cups of heavy cream

A cup of sweetened condensed milk

Two cups of chopped strawberries

A cup of crushed cake

How to prepare

Beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer until you get a heavy creamy texture
Gradually add the condensed milk to the cream
Then add the strawberries and cake
Put the mixture in a medium-sized glass tray
Decorate it with strawberries and slices of cake
Let it cool in the freezer for at least two hours, then serve
